About Me
My name is Aleksey Shchigalev.
I am a visual artist with a personal studio practice and over 18 years of experience in mural painting.
Originally from the Perm region of Russia, I am now based between France and Switzerland, working on projects across Europe. My path began with intimate interior wall paintings and has expanded to large-scale murals for homes, cafés, hotels, cultural spaces, and public facades.
Each mural is hand-painted and designed specifically for its space — transforming walls into meaningful, living surfaces. Alongside mural work, I continue to develop an artistic practice exploring memory, history, and material culture.
